Boundaries
You are reading a static page. It lists operators, links to independent help organisations and repeats the eighteen-and-over restriction throughout, including on the front page and at the end of every operator listing. Nothing on it can switch on a deposit cap, a loss cap, a reality check, a cooling-off period or self-exclusion, because those controls belong to an account held with an operator, and this build has no account, no form and no server-side application to hold one. Nobody's age is checked here either: any check of that kind happens at the destination, once you follow an operator link and its rules, checks and account controls take over from anything published on this page. There is no advertising or behavioural profiling network running on these pages, so nothing here is aimed at you because of gambling activity you may have shown elsewhere.
If you want any of those controls, you set them up inside the account at the operator's own site, after leaving here. Each of the ten operator listings ends with the same line: check availability and the current terms at the destination before claiming anything, because eligibility rules and terms apply there and can change without notice. That line exists because this page cannot confirm what a destination offers or enforces; only the destination can.
Support
Every page of this site, including this one, carries links to three independent gambling-help organisations: begambleaware.org, gamblingtherapy.org and gamcare.org.uk. These are the only outbound links on the site that are not commercial. Unlike the operator links, they carry no sponsored marking, they are set to nofollow, and they open in a separate tab on the organisations' own websites. This site receives nothing when you follow them. They are named here as independent sources of help, nothing more is claimed about what they do.
Practice
Before you start, decide the amount you're prepared to spend and treat it as already gone, the way you would treat cash handed over for a ticket or a meal out. Deciding in advance removes the pressure to justify a bigger figure once you're already playing. Once that amount is used up, stop; chasing a loss by raising the stake to win it back tends to turn one loss into a bigger one, because the odds haven't changed in your favour just because you've spent more. Keep the amount you've set separate from borrowed money or funds earmarked for bills, so a loss stays a loss and doesn't become a debt. Build in breaks rather than long unbroken sessions, since a pause gives you a chance to notice how much time or money has actually gone. If gambling stops feeling like entertainment and starts feeling necessary, or if you notice yourself hiding the amount you spend, talk to someone about it early, whether that's a friend, a family member or one of the organisations linked above, rather than waiting for it to become a bigger problem.
